Positive Space

In 2021, Judith was commissioned to design and oversee the fabrication of a public art project. Created in dedication to Bonnie Currey-Stamps, one of the founders and first CEO of AIM Center, this 12’ x 5’ x 2’ concrete and mosaic tile sculpture now stands on the corner of W. MLK Blvd. and Gateway Blvd, on the front lawn of the AIM Center. Titled “Positive Space”, this sculpture incorporated the tile work of over 60 members of AIM Center and other partner organizations such as Mark Making and friends and family of Bonnie. This project stands as a symbol of hope, compassion and positivity. These are qualities that Bonnie embraced, and that the AIM Center continues to provide to the Chattanooga community.
